How to get access?

MakeBanc is invite-only, with no public sign-up. You get in with an invite code, and the diagram below shows where it fits in.

How the platform connects

Asset managers bring strategies and invite investors. Investors access the platform through that invite. MakeBanc is the infrastructure both sides plug into.

Why invite-only?

Two reasons.

First, quality. Allocators are educated about a specific strategy by the strategy team, then they arrive through someone who already understands the platform, which reduces any friction.

Second, regulatory hygiene. Public solicitation of allocations into trading strategies carries specific regulatory obligations. Invite-based access supports compliance with those requirements by ensuring investors arrive through existing relationships from licensed Asset Managers rather than open marketing.

This is not about exclusivity. It is about alignment.

How to get in?

Asset managers issue codes through an audited channel. If you arrive through an asset manager's code, your introduction is attributed to that manager.

If you do not have a code, find an Asset Manager who has one.

What an invite code does:

The code does not give the introducer access to your wallet, balance, KYC documents, or activity. The introducer sees only that you completed onboarding through their code, with your explicit consent.

For asset-manager-sourced relationships, additional information may be shared with your consent. Covered in the asset manager docs.

What an invite code does not do:

Does not change available strategies.
Does not change fees.
Does not change platform terms.
Does not give the introducer control over your allocations or redemptions.

The invite is an introduction. Nothing more.
